Welcome to the Construction Industry Clay Shooting Society
The CICSS has been set up to provide four annual clay shoots for all those in the Construction Industry who wish to take part. Whether you’re a Trade, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Main Contractor, Merchant or Materials Manufacturer you are welcome.
As are your Friends, Family and Colleagues. The aim is to provide a Fun (But SAFE) days shooting, under tuition for Novices and some friendly competition amongst those who can shoot.
We want to see you bringing your Trainees/Apprentices along to see how our industry benefits from these opportunities to network. We also want to make clay shooting accessible as most people believe it is far more expensive to shoot clays than it is.
£80 – £120 per day is great value, especially as it includes a breakfast roll and buffet lunch at all venues. We look forward to hosting you at our next event.
The Rainy Day Trust helps present and past employees of the home improvement and home enhancement industry who have fallen on hard times.
It started with one man’s desire to help his friend in his hour of need and has grown into a national charity run by tradespeople, for tradespeople.
You’re always nervous when you go to a new event because you don’t know who you’re going to meet or if you’re going to get on with the people there, but how mistaken could I be, the great part about it was we definitely had two things in common 1.shooting 2.working in the same industry. So no matter what happens you have always got something to talk about.
I attended the first event and invited a number of trades from the Expert Trades community. They had never shot before and the feedback has been fantastic. It’s a great way to do something a little different and memorable for people you want to build a relationship with.
I have to say congrats to Jamie on organising the event and look forward to being a regular at all the CICSS shoots.
I have never shot before as getting invited to things like this is not normal for the type of work I do. The day was brilliant fun, from the shooting to getting to know more people in the industry.
I think something like this that makes is open to people of all abilities and supports shooters like me who has never been shooting before is a great idea and I’m looking forward to the next shoot.
