Founding member of CICSS recognised for his efforts

The 13th August 2019 saw Sporting Targets near Bedford host the second CICSS shoot organised by Jamie Fisher, Sales Director at Monument Tools LTD. Jamie put together the Construction Industry Clay Shooting Society after several conversations with other shooters in the industry who wanted to give themselves and their colleagues the opportunity to network across the entire construction industry whilst enjoying the opportunity to shoot clays at some of the UK’s best Shooting Ground.  

From only 15 shooters at the inaugural shoot back in May at West Midlands Shooting Ground, Hodnet bear Telford, this second shoot saw 30 shooters enjoying the facilities and hospitality at Sporting Targets near Bedford. 15 experienced shooters and 15 novices shot a selection of Sporting Targets in the morning, then after a buffet lunch joined forces in teams of 4 to shoot flushes from the legendary 120 foot tall tower in The Quarry.

Prizes for the event were sponsored by Anthony Perry of Perry Plumbing and Heating. Top Gun, Top Novice and Top Team trophies were handed out at the close of the day to some well deserving shooters but then came the surprise.

Anthony Perry and Adam Callow (Of Expert Trades) wanted to recognise the efforts of Jamie Fisher in organising this event and being the linchpin for CICSS, so after the main prizes were awarded they presented Jamie Fisher with a trophy as “Founder Member”.
